A pretty good thought. I heard several possible reasons: Brandon Jackson may
not be recovering as well as hoped, so this is insurance. More competition
lights a fire under Lucky, tells him the starting spot isn't just his for
the taking now that Ross will be gone. Glen may be growing into a fullback.
You can never have enough good backs. (the weakest argument in my mind
considering scholarship limits and the need for more good lineman, etc.),
and finally, the staff has been recruiting high school backs, and are still
in on a Texas rb named Cobb. But if they lose him, Wilson is a good move.
