[Husker] recruits

True, recruiting indeed is the lifeblood of college football. I'd go 
further and say that it's 80% of college coaching. If anyone's 
looking for an example, I refer them to the Longhorns and the Trojans.

That said, we should keep in mind Abraham Lincoln's words, "The world 
will little note nor long remember what we say here..." In other 
words, the complaints of Husker fans are universally disregarded 
outside the state. Further, what we write on the HuskerList is little 
noted nor long remembered inside the state. Collectively, there's 
little or no impact on potential recruits' decisions.

It's pretty clear that few Nebraskans are pleased with the present 
state of Husker football, but fomenting unrest or trying to suppress 
it have become, equally, exercises in futility.

Sometimes little equipoise goes a long way.
