[Husker] Pathetic

I don't know why Callahan said that, but I don't recall him making a
personnel decision in that CU game last year that was contrary to trying
to win the game.

Putting the #3 QB in over the #2 QB with the game on the line would be
contrary to trying to win a game. The result is unimportant, you have
to play who you think will do best if you want to win.

So either he did have a change of heart, or he said some something
stupid that he didn't really mean last year.

Whether this game/season justifies losing Beck for 2009 is debatable
(obviously). I'm going to bet that for one reason or another, in 2009
we won't be moaning that we would've won the championship if only we had
Beck this year. That's just a guess. But I don't think it's wrong to
say that the difference between 5-6 or 6-5 and a bowl with extra
practice makes a significant difference for next year.

So do you think then that Callahan has had a change of heart concerning
his "one game, one season" comment?
