[Husker] Players defend Callahan

I find it funny that Jon thinks that NU is the only
team playing for anything today and that should be
enough for the players to get fired up enough to win
no matter what the coaches do. Well dont forget the
KSU is also playing to get to be bowl eligable and
avoid a second straight losing season. So what will
Snyder be telling his kids before the game to fire
them up? A few guesses: Win today and next week and we
go to a bowl. Win today and we stay out of the Big XII
north cellar and put NU there. Win today and theres a
good chance we keep NU home from the bowls for a
second straight year. Win today and we may see their
coach get fired at seasons end (right or not he could
use this). Win today and become the first KSU team to
win back to back games in Lincoln and the first to
have a 4 game win streak over NU (for the first time
in NU history against KSU?). The list could probably
go on and on but dont think that KSU has nothing to
play for today and that we can just get fired up
enough to win. BS will have his players ready to play
and we will have to play a good game and have the
right plays called and the right schemes ran to win. A
loss today will be just as much on the coaches as it
is the players.
My prediction is NU 24 KSU 21. Just because it seems
we have to get down 21-3 before we start to play and
this time we pull out the comeback victory.
