A lot of these victory streaks were broken before
Solich left campus.
Losing
the last one was a big deal because it was the only
one we had left.
However, that was not Callahan's fault.
Gerald
Solich left with the winning season and bowl games
streaks in place. Those are the two most important
ones, IMHO. NU is not going to beat every team for
ever. Even TO lost to ISU and Missouri. It is the
accumulation of losses, the possibility of a
second-straight losing season, and missing a bowl
again, that is upsetting. If Callahan was 7-2 with a
loss to KU, I doubt "Husker Nation" would be this
upset.
