Steve,
At every televised game as soon as the camera pans to the stadium they
mention the sellout streak and relate it to the loyalty of the fans and what
the program means to the entire state. I dread to hear how they will play it
the first time it doesn't sell out - fickle fans that only followed the
program during the good times, etc.
The streaks were a sign of the longevity of our success.
I would classify present as a willingness to support a struggling work in
progress.
Future - Personally I believe to see renewed success. Games are now and will
continue to be in doubt in most cases. I always wondered more why so many
would go watch us consistently beat someone 63 -0.
I think that just being in that atmosphere with the band, etc is worth the
price of admission.
