You are correct about the bowl games those four years.  But, don't forget we won the Gothem Bowl in '62 defeating George Mira and Miami 36-34.  The '64 OB was my first bowl game.  It was the second play from scrimmage that Claridge made his 64 yd. run.  Solich had a long punt return TD called back because they said he stepped out of bounds enroute to the end zone.
