[Husker] Next week - KSU

My dad is looking for Dr. Turner Gill to come in and cure what ails the
Husker football team.

The new roll your eyes quote comes from the police officers my dad works
with at CPS. "This whole debacle is TO fault for naming Solich as head
coach." Now take into consideration that the same officers thought we
would have a good season this year. I guess when their bubble gets burst
they resort to this!

I couldn't disagree with you more about having to go through this crap
again.

Bringing back Barney Cotton and a heritage Husker staff would "unite the
base". We would all be together again with HP/SP/BC and staff gone and
one
of our own at the helm. TO would probably lead the fund raising. Think
about it a little before dismissing the idea. The sooner we move the
better.

Do you actually think we are going to be better next year with -
Carriker,
Adams, Smith, Muhamid, Bullocks gone and the offense having to pull its
full
weight. The schedule this year was the easiest in the modern history of
the
program. We were lucky to beat ISU and Pitt or our wins would be over
Maine, Baylor, and Wake Forest.

This blaming Frank for the talent isn't going to cut it anymore after
today.
Does anyone think our talent was inferior to KU's?

then what will happen on Nov. 12 in Lincoln?

Kansas State will go into Lincoln next week and embarass the Huskers, I
am
afraid. I would not be surprised to see a 25 point loos to KSU, and KSU
hasn't been impressive whatsoever this season.

I feel bad for the players who are actually trying to turn this thing
around. The problem now of course, is if Callahan gets the ax, the
Huskers
will go through all this crap again for more years. Nebraska had never
lost
to Kansas IN MY ENTIRE LIFETIME before today.

I have tried to defend these coaches all year, hoping the team would
show
improvement game by game, but now I challenge anyone on this list to
prove
to me that this team has shown improvement, regardless of who is the
head
coach. Today's game was one of the worst football games for Nebraska
I've
ever seen (actually heard), even worse, I believe, than the 60-something
to
36 loss to Colorado and all the OU games in the 80's. This truly was a
devastating loss in a lot of ways. I hope the team doesn't completely
fall
apart after today, but I am afraid it will.
