I think I saw the same play (Taylor took a lot of hard
hits); towards the end of the game, the Kansas players
were less concerned with tackling and more trying to
"blow up" our players. The same thing happened late
against Missouri as well.
I did start screaming at Callahan to get Taylor out of
there before Taylor got himself killed at that point.
Certainly would have been a good time to let Joe Ganz
take a couple of snaps.
Fortunately, Zac Taylor is one tough kid. He takes a
licking each and every game.
