   As I remember 5 games into the 69 season we weren't so sure.  We  
had lost of USC and MU and had just barely beaten a KU team that  
ended up 1-9.  Under todays rules we would have lost that game to KU  
in 69 and the season might well have gone the other way.  We were  
very inconsistent in 69 until the last two games 10-7 over a strong  
KSU team and a blowout win over OU in Norman.  But the next year.....
