[Husker] "1968"

My brother Rob, who lives in Omaha, sent me this earlier today:

<I went to the KU game. It was not a very good 1st half and the 2nd half
was worse, but after 36 years, I must say I didn't feel too bad for us -
it was somehow nice to see some smiles on Jayhawk fans after all those
years of drubbings.>

This is SAD--empathy for the opponent !! I didn't listen at all. This
season is essentially lost. Guess I just don't have the boyish
enrthusiasm I once did for the game.

Looking at the big picture, this is "1968" and last year was "1967." Next
year better be a "1969" with all those highly-touted recruits, or
Callahan is done. I wish Stevie would go away TOMORROW.
