[Husker] Regarding Pederson and Calihan

While I strongly disagree with the firing of Solich, and I do not like
what I see on the football field, I think it is too early to give up on
either Pederson or Calihan.
I, for one, do not know enough about all the other things an AD does to
fairly evaluate Pederson's performance. And even if firing Solich could
be proved to have been a mistake, mistakes are inevitable when in the
position of hiring and firing.
As far as Calihan goes, he should not be removed until it is beyond
reasonable doubt that he cannot return the team to a MNC contender.
That requires at least 3-4 years, probably more. It will take 4-5 years
before the team is made up of entirely his own players and, like Solich,
he may need to change some of his assistant coaches.
One of the biggest mistakes that could be made is to put the Huskers on
the merry-go-round of a different coach every 3-4 years.
