[Husker] Next two games & overall direction

This season is turning into a bitter pill to swallow,
maybe more so than last year as there seemed to be
little glimpses of hope.

In the end it appears we were bolstered up by a weak
home schedule and may not be significantly better than
last year from a results stand point.

How important are the next two games for Callahan and
Steve Pederson? I think if they don't win at least 1
of them then the fuse gets much shorter for them. How
short? I don't know but I'd like to see some sort of
positive movement, even small hints.

This game seems like a slide in the other direction
and makes me wonder about the state of the team. We
haven't been blown out up to this point, and I'm
getting odd feelings of deja vu back to 1990 or so
when the defense just plain gave up and played dead.

Back then the coaching staff took action and the
result was the Husker's spectacular run through the
mid to late 90's. Right now I guess I'm just watching
and wondering what direction things will go.
