[Husker] Here's one more disturbing thought

Nebraska will be playing K-state next Saturday for LAST PLACE in the North.
K State is the only team currently in contention for the cellar who doesn't
already have the head-to-head win over the Huskers. If K-St wins they would
have that and both teams would be 5-5 and 2-5 in conference.
It's quite possible that Pederson DID in fact keep the Huskers from
gravitating towards mediocrity....
...by sending them right on through it.
I don't even know what to make of the program at this point. I see some of
the experience issues with execution on the offense, but the D? The
Blackshirts have shown flashes of greatness at times this year, and I just don't see
real weaknesses anywhere in the lineup. Even the secondary is pretty
decent, from an athlete/talent standpoint. It baffles me how OU, Mizzou, and KU
can struggle against other, supposedly less talented defenses, and then all
seem to have the answer to the Huskers. It's almost like everybody got copies
of Cosgrove's defensive plans before conference play started.
Are the defensive players just having lots of mental lapses or is the DC
getting badly outcoached? Can someone more knowlegeable shed some light?
