Unless, of course, Beck were to throw six TDs and lead NU to a win over
Colorado. (Then, I suppose, he should be fired for not putting him in
sooner.) Actually, I think quarterback is the least of the worries on
offense, so I don't think there is much (if any) upside to changing QBs at
this point, and I have to believe Callahan is smart enough to see that.
Moreover, I think his job is safe for at least one more season (and probably
two), so he's not likely to put Beck in out of desperation, regardless of
the situation. (All of which undoubtely means that Callahan will announce
tomorrow that Beck will start next Saturday.)
