I hope that Collier has  a good year. But no matter how good or bad his 
year is, he damn well had better not be fired. 

I do not want this athletic director hiring a new basketball coach. The 
only other coach I'm aware of that has been hired under his tenure has 
been the replacement for Childress in baseball, and that most likely was 
done with a heavy influence or recommendation by Mike Anderson. Let me go 
further. I do not want Steve Pederson hiring or firing another coach at 
Nebraska. The next athletic director, whoever that may be, can handle 
those responsibilities. 

My defense of Callahan comes largely from the idea that it isn't his fault 
he replaced living legends. I still wish him to be ultimately successful.
