I suspect nobody outside of the coaching staff understands what
'scripted plays' really means, either.
It believe it does NOT mean that they know exactly what 15 plays they're
going to run, it does mean that they have a list of what plays they want
to try in what situations. (In fact, that's kind of what I envision when
someone says 'game plan'.)
However, the script for this game seems to have been written by Stephen King.
Husker down 17-2, and it might have been 24-2 but for an interception
in the red zone.
We should probably be grateful to ABC and Fox for not putting this horror
show on TV.
I wonder when ESPN's online game summary will figure out that Corey McKeon
is not the Nebraska QB?
