I'm sorry...you're right

Just keep bitchin' and everything will be great.

Devaney is gone, Tom is gone, Solich is gone.
One constant....fans that are only fans so that they have something else to
bitch about in their pathetic lives.

I continue to hear story after story about the Fans in Nebraska that nobody
can stand to be around because all they do is bitch and moan about how bad
Callahan is, how Frank got screwed, how Peterson sux. Top contributors to the
University who aren't ecstatic about the records lately, but worst yet, can't
stand the growing negativity of the fan base. Their embarrassed, I'm
embarrassed, not by the team but by some of the words and actions of the fans.
Guess what---they still write the checks that support their TEAM.

It's out of control. You can feel how you want, say what you want to say,
support who you want. BUT all your complaining won't change the coaching
staff, it won't bring maturity to freshman players, it won't help a weak offensive
line that can't control the line of scrimmage.
It can damage the morale of the current team, it can hurt recruiting
efforts, it can do damage.

If I hear these things down here in Texas, recruits are no different.
Members of the team can use a PC, read the World Herald, The Independent, etc.

I don't care about supporting people that WERE at Nebraska----I choose to
support the current TEAM (coaches and all). To me, that what support is all
about.
Good or bad---Our team is our team.

So now we have to support someone just because he is
the Husker coach even if we don't like him? Well I don't
see everyone being real supportive of Frank and he was
a Husker coach. I don't see very many being supportive
of Lawrence Phillips and he was a Husker player. I can
be a Husker fan and support the team without liking
the coach. I can also dislike Callahan without being a
So lich supporter. I didn't really care for Solich, but
I like Callahan even less. I still root for the
Huskers and will continue to do so no matter who the
coach is but that doesn't mean I have to like or
support the coach. If every Husker fan had been
supportive of Frank he would still be the coach. Quit
telling me how to feel and who to support.
