The timing for ESPN couldn't have been better, what
with Callahan's latest slipup coming up just before
this broadcast. Kind of like how the Ohio/Pitt game
happened to fall one week before the Husker/Pitt game
for ESPN; it has given the ESPN commentators plenty of
material.
I also wonder if there still are negative feelings
towards Pederson by ESPN after we broke off
negotiations for the Houston game.
I'm also positive that Pederson does not pay any
attention to what the sports media says, both local
and national. Yesterday on KFAB, he claimed that
"Gesture-Gate" was only a story within the borders of
the state, though Gary Saddelmeyer tried to inform him
that ESPN and Fox were both covering it quite a bit.
