You are right on both counts. Jerry Gdowski Jr. (his Dad was my HS
football coach so I remember him as a rugger having a good time at
games) is the QB coach at Ohio with Frank S and Mike Grant is the
receivers coach at ISU. BTW, has anyone looked at Frank's staff
list. Lots of Nebraska connections besides Jerry including Bo
Pelini's brother Carl.

Also, I agree with a previous post about football passing Solich
by. Hasn't happened! It takes time to learn to be a head coach. I
was frequently disappointed with Frank but I remembered the same
feeling with TO's early years. I always recognized that as a Husker
fan I was often spoiled by their ongoing success. I always feared
the day would come where they started a downhill trend from coaching
changes. And, Steve P came along and decided he knew better what was
good for the Huskers than to give Frank the time TO had to really get
good. Who knows, we may get a chance to get him back if BC doesn't
turn out to be all he's cracked up to be (and, I've made it pretty
clear how I feel on that point).

Just like with my Harley, if you have to ask why I use Macs, you
probably wouldn't understand.
