If Bill Callahan's and Steve Pederson's ears are burning, it could be the result of the broadcast of the Ohio-Toledo game on ESPN2. The second quarter has been a continuous paean to Frank Solich, including wonderment at how NU could fire a guy with a good record who was never an embarrasment to the university (references to "f***ing hillbillies" and throat-slashing). Sigh. BTW, Ohio leads 14-10.
