[Husker] Recruiting and Callahan

I just don't see why people assume Callahan is/will be a good recruiter.
Just because he was a NFL head coach for 2 years. Here's his coaching
career:

2002-2003, head coach for the Oakland Raiders (overall record 17-16)
1998-2001, offensive coordinator for the Oakland Raiders 
1995-1997, offensive line coach for the Philadelphia Eagles
1990-1994, offensive line coach at the University of Wisconsin
1987-1988, offensive line coach at Northern Arizona University.
1980 as a graduate assistant at University of Illinois
1981-1986, full time assistant coaching tight ends, offensive line,
quarterbacks and special teams

What in there shouts 'recruiter'?
