[Husker] Coach question

My opinion of Callahan is deeply influenced by growing up watching Tom
Osborne handle the NU football team. Callahan's aloof, 'my way or the
highway' personality, and volitile sideline temperment may indeed make
him a successful football coach, but I will never respect him the way I
do Tom Osborne. I hope Callahan has great success at NU but I will
cheer the team, the players on the field, regardless of the coach on the
sidelines.
Regarding the force-feeding of the new offensive system, it may make
sense to some but it had to make most of the seniors on the team feel
like their final season of college football was being treated as a
series of scrimmages where a win wasn't important. That was most likely
why we saw the players not buying into the new "system". Callahan's
"one game, one season" comment after the Colorado game, the way he said
it, showed me he didn't really care about that season. This season, I
am very impressed with the way the team has come together to fight to
the end in every game. That says something very positive about the
coaching staff.

I myself think he is a great guy and that his plan will eventually work very well. I also liked Solich and Osborne, etc. I support the University regardless of the coach. I am a Husker fan.
