If anyone is interested in seeing our old offense tune in to ESPN2 at 7PM
Friday evening.

The Bobcats are a 12 point underdog to the pre-season MAC favorite Toledo
Rockets. Ohio's offensive line is really beat up with a freshman starting
at center. Everson at QB is not that fast or elusive and not a passer, but
Ohio does have a Sophomore I-back that has really improved since the start
of the season. Frank says they have been working on less juking and more
getting down the field. Maybe my imagination, but he is beginning to look
like a Solich coached back.

Brandon Jones, a freshman QB that Frank recruited may get some playing time.
More athletic, and a lot of passing potential. Can't really say what Husker
QB he reminds me of. Some things remind me of Gill but I don't actually
think he is in that league.

Bottoms line is Ohio need a better offensive line, but I still love watching
that offense when they do make their blocks.

By the way, the rest of Ohio's games are all nationally televised I believe
and they all three have the national stage to themselves due to the
non-Saturday dates: Akron (15th) and Miami (21st) are the last two. They
are currently in a 4 way tie for first place in the MAC. This should help
Frank's recruiting.
