Tennessee for one is proving that top 5 rated
recruiting classes don't translate into automatic BCS
bids.
I've always looked at the recruiting ratings with
skepticism because of the successs the huskers have
had in the past with recruiting classes generally
rated outside of the top 10.
"Go Irish on Saturday and put Tennessee at 3-5 for the
season." They started out preseason number 3.
Now my neighbors are seeing what it feels like to have
a miserable season like the one we had last year, and
may have this year. The locals are ready to send Phil
Fulmer away to coach Bowling Green or something.
Trouble is they can't think of anyone to replace
Fulmer who would actually take the job. (hee hee)
Sound familiar?????
