Steve...I agree with your post completely.  I, too, am a long time Husker fan.  I feel that with Callahan and Co. success in recruiting, we need to be patient and give the guy a few years to develop the system that he envisions will work.

I was also upset at the firing of Frank Solich, but I felt that the recruiting suffered some under his leadership the last couple of years.  In this day and age in college football, a weak recruiting year can be disastrous.
