[Husker] I hope Husker Nation is HAPPY (fwd)

I'm not calling on anyone to be fired... But didn't Oklahoma fire a
President/Chancellor essentially over their football program in the
90's? Perhaps I'm thinking of somewhere else, though.

You sure Harvey Perlman would?

At the time SP was hired, he looked like a good choice. He was familiar
with Nebraska's AD. He is a Nebraskan. He'd done a good job at Pitt.
He'd had a good track record as an athletic director. How was Harvey to
know that SP's ego would go bonkers?

Harvey Perlman shouldn't be that affected by this, other than at some
point, having to replace Steve Pederson (even if Callahan works out
okay, AD's tend to last for a max of 10 years, don't they?). If Nebraska
wants to look really dumb, we would demand that a head guy at the
University gets fired because the athletic department is screwed up.
We'd make sure to tell everyone in the world where our priorities lie.
