Greetings Again:

Regarding PPV games, first the game must be passed on by all of the TV partners (ABC, FSN National and FSN Syndication) once that occurs the home team can request a PPV from the conference office. The visiting team has to be willing to along with this however as it requires that the game be played at a different time than normal. The game must start before 11:00 AM CT or after 6:00 PM CT if it is going to be shown via PPV. ABC and the Fox partners have exclusive control of the 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM CT window and no game can be televised during that time period unless it is shown by one of those entities.

During the later part of the season (November especially) it is highly doubtful that you will see Nebraska agree to a PPV contest due to the fact that the game would have to start after 6:00 and it gets pretty darn cold some nights around here.

Also quite honestly most NU fans do not like night games. The season ticket base was surveyed a few years ago and one of the complaints was game that start later than 2:30 PM.
