[Husker] Baseball

I would worry big time. In fact I have a buddy whose brother is a JUCO
assistant coach who is friends with Childress and he's hoping Childress
goes after the OU job. He thinks he would have a good shot at a job and
with the performance of the pitchers this season Childress would
definitely be high on anyone's head coaching list if they had half a
brain. Childress leaving would harm the team more than if Andersen left
IMHO.

Regardless of what happens from here on the Huskers had a great
baseball season. It goes to show what pitching means. NU has right now

probably the best staff they have ever had. I am talking as a staff.
The fact Rob Childress has molded one of the finest pitching staffs in
the Nation, if not THE finest, isn't going to be lost on people seeking
a Head Coach. Another College World Series appearance would be great.
But, as always, there is a lot of ball to play between now and then.
