The Ratings  Power Index is the formula NCAA uses whose components include winning percentage of a team, their opponent, their their opponent's opponent, and I believe this year they made a home win .6 and a road win 1.4 (or was that the basketball RPI) and wins against higher ranked teams and loses against lower ranked teams.

NU has 5 wins against (2-33) Hawai'i-Hilo RPI # 247 of 290
quite a hit on our RPI.
