[Husker] Top 8 @ 10:30 tomorrow

on ESPN.  If the NCAA committee doesn't give NU a top 8
seed, I'll be amazed.  One other reason to give NU the nod
now is 10-1 through their last 11 games.  I haven't looked
closely at the qualifications of other possible top 8 seeds
except for Texas and Baylor, but it would be great if all
them were awarded.  I think UT might get the cold shoulder
now.

Gutsy performances by NU.  Another outstanding game by
Duensing and it was good to see Jensen come in and face 4
and get 4 out.  Combined they faced 30 batters, only 3 over
the minimum.  3 hits, 2 walks, 2 double plays by the defense
and no errors.  The only run was scored with a hit by Simo,
Gordon reaching on a fielder's choice, single by Ledbetter,
walk by Bohanan and sac fly by Gerch with the bases loaded.

Joba, Johnny and Zach should all be well rested for the
regional.
