Grant Wistrom is one of only 15 huskers to have his "jersey" retired, 
Big Twelve defensive player of the year, two years in a row ('96, '97), 
Lombardi trophy winner, selected to the Nebraska All-Century team and #6 
pick in the '98 NFL draft.  An unforgettable defensive end.

Grant's younger brother Tracey finished his career as the 5th leading 
receiver in Nebraska history, playing as a tight end.  Three Vedrals 
played for the Huskers in the 90's, collectively lettering 10 times.
