The thing I see is everyone is used to the National Power
syndrome. Because of the last 30 years or so we believe NU is
inalienably endowed by its creator to be a top 10 team. That couldn't
be farther from the truth. People have to start from the starting
point. We were not in the top 50 last year. Not the top 10 but the top
50. That makes it a long ways back to National prominence. I am not
saying we will not be better in less than two years. But, if one
expects National prominence they more than likely will be disappointed.

The TO years comparing them with now is like talking apples and oranges. Maybe the people you mentioned the system was new to them but how many years had the system been in place? And, what did the depth chart look like? We are under a whole different set of circumstances than when Frazier or Jones came into the system. I have never heard of Vedrals or Wistroms so I am not sure what they did or didn't do.
