That's not what I said Bob.  My response was to your quote "We have a lot of
talent recruited in but that is
at LEAST (my emphasis) a year or two away".  Callahan already has one year
under his belt.  I was questioning why "two" more years "

I would think that at the end of two years should be enough. Many adapt.
Example.  Did Ruud take three years to adapt to a new system? (TO's system
was new to them).  Crouch? Frazier? Wistroms? Peters? Vedrals? Calvin Jones?
Mike/Ralph Brown?

If it takes a player three years to adapt to a new system, why on earth
would anyone recruit a JUCO?

 TO's system basically wouldn't start anyone until they were at least
Juniors unless they were utterly fantastic.  If my calculations are correct
that would mean at least two years.  I doubt Callahan's system is a lot
different.
