[Husker] upsets

Unfortunately I was there as well. Cold, windy....
I was in family practice residency at the time in Davenport, Iowa and as a Husker fan really, really took it from the Iowa and ISU fans after that loss. (Of course, Davenport natives were not all that bad as I could continually remind them about Roger Craig)
Marv Seiler runs past our entire defense and I ran a faster 40 yard time in high school than he did and I was an offensive tackle. Now that really sucks.

TO's biggest upset loss is obvious. The 1992 loss at Ames to ISU 19-10. I
was at that game. I was thrown out by an ISU police office, but stayed at
the stadium anyway and lead ISU students onto the field to tear down the
goal posts. It's a long story. Not bad over beer. <G>
I knew the game was over when John Parella sacked ISU's QB, then pointed
at him on the ground and got flagged for 15 yards for unsportsmanlike
behaviour.
We were ranked #7 at the time. I punched Tommie Frazier in the chest as he
was walking off the field and told him to get his head up.
Argh. That loss still sucks.
