     Needless to say I don't remember much pre-Devaney.  I was nine 
years old in 1959.  I don't remember the game itself but I do remember 
people talking about it afterward, like in church the next morning.  
Considering the circumstances that would probably be NU's biggest upset 
win ever.  Notice I didn't say NU's biggest win.  I said biggest UPSET 
win.  That 1959 game was as big of an upset as if say Illinois would 
have played and beaten USC last year.  I can't remember the exact number 
but hadn't OU won somewhere around 74 Conference games in a row before 
losing to NU in 1959?  Nebraska went 4-6 overall in 1959 and 2-4 in the 
Conference.
