That's an interesting topic for discussion.  Beginning with the Devaney

While we're at it, lets make the same picks for the post-war, pre-Devaney 
era. This is a little more difficult because a) most every win was an upset 
and b) just about every loss wasn't. Anyway, I would go with:
Win: Texas, 1961
Loss: Hawaii, 1954
