I'll take Mike's bait on this...
biggest upset losses, and there have been some good ones (ISU 92, Mizzo 78, Wisconsin 73) but I'll put Syracuse 84 at the top.
Weren't we number one at the time? And didn't Syracuse get beaten the previous week by Rutgers? We also crushed them the previous year 62-7. We got a touchdown on the opening drive and the rest of the day were completing frustrated. Given the perceived disparity between the two teams, I'd have to say that qualifies as the biggest upset loss in modern Husker history.
