    I agree with you to a point but the Huskers were starting to have depth issues the last few years of the Solich regime.  But, as you say, changing the offense accelerated the issue.

     I would have to go back and look and that would take some time to check 44 years.  There wouldn't be many upset wins because over that time frame the Huskers were usually picked to win.  If it was such a game the Huskers weren't picked to win it still wouldn't have been regarded as an upset if they won because the two teams were probably fairly evenly matched.  No upset loss sticks out any more to me than Iowa State in 1992.
