A few quick notes about this weekend.  As Nebraska fans,
only two series matter, NU vs KSU and MU vs BU.

Nebraska has to take care of business against KSU.  NU
hitters need to take advantage of KSU's pitching (staff era
of 4.2), and put the ball in play.  KSU's fielding
percentage is .962, so they average about 1.5 errors a game
vs. NU's 1.0.  Meanwhile, NU pitchers have to be careful as
KSU leads the conference in hitting at a .315 clip. 
Nebraska needs a sweep to have any real chance of winning
the Big 12 title.

Baylor and Mizzou should have a pitcher's dual tonight as
Max Scherzer and Mark McCormick take the hill.  McCormick
took a beating the last time out against TAMU, so he should
be fresh and ready to go.  It is critical for MU to win this
game (if you're an NU fan) and with Scherzer pitching, they
have a great shot.  Saturday and Sunday's games will be
advantage Baylor with the better arms.

The best thing Nebraska can do is focus on their own game
and not scoreboard watch as Baylor and MU have later start
times each day.  I wouldn't be surprised if score updates
aren't given this weekend during the games.
