Guaranteed money and facilities are important and 2nd place
in the Big 12 should get a regional host, but the super
regional hosts are more often than not given to the top 8
national seeds if they win their regional.  Bear in mind
that super regional sites aren't determined until the
regionals are done.

Unless NU gets hot and sweeps KSU and places 1st or 2nd in
the tournament, I don't think they'll get a top 8 seed. 
Which means either they need to be paired against a top 8
seed with lousy facilities or need them to lose, like Wake
Forest did against Richmond to host a super regional.

Remember that NU hosted Rice when Buck Beltzer was used.  NU
was the #8 national seed.  All this is wild speculation
though when you consider the NCAA is running the show.
