He nailed what, Bob? The concept that because the other team acts like a
bunch of jackasses, it's okay for us to do that too?
Perhaps Bob Stoops needs more respect for tradition as well, but what does
that have to do with OUR behaviour, unless both of you are stating that
it's okay to get down in the gutter as long as the other guy was there
first.
By condoning this type of concept - "They're worse than we are, so our
behaviour is okay" - we've let Callahan off the hook. We tend to do that
a lot these days - the most obvious being politics. We don't seem to care
what leaders do, as long as they're on our side.
Whatever the Rufneks did, Bob Stoops does, or the OU AD does has nothing
to do with how we conduct ourselves or what we accept as proper behaviour.
