[Husker] AVCA/NACWAA - Husker Volleyball

Good Morning All:

For those of you who might be interested in seeing a volleyball final four to kick off this fall's Husker volleyball season you might want to get over to Ticketmaster at 10:00 AM Central Time today (Monday, May 16th) and pick up tickets for the AVCA/NACWAA Preseason Volleyball Classic. 

Participants include Nebraska, Hawaii, Penn State and Stanford. The tournament will be played at the Qwest Center Omaha on August 26th & 27th. Nebraska will take on Hawaii the first night at 7:00 PM with Penn State and Stanford squaring off in the opening match at 5:00 PM on the 26th. 

The Friday night winners will advance to the championship match on Saturday at 7:00 PM with the two losers playing at 5:00 PM on Saturday.

Qwest Center Omaha will also host a volleyball regional in December 2005 and the 2006 NCAA Volleyball Final Four in December 2006.
