[Husker] Callahan

Can tell everyone is starting to froth at the mouth for the new season: Football that is after the Husker 9 gets to the CWS.

What a great discussion going on about Callahan, Stoops, Blake, Barnett, Switzer and whoever else.

When Callahan was first hired I came out in support of him because I followed his Pro career.

We have to understand the underlying philosophy here and that is in Pro football you do not have any respect or love for any other 
team. There is no tradition in Pro football like College ball. Perhaps the closest there ever was a tradition in Pro football was 
years ago when you had to go through the 49ers and Dallas to get to the Superbowl.

Bill is from that Pro school and in time he will learn the tradition of College football and on the flipside I certainly agree with 
the posts that it is not only Callahan whom seems to have lost track of the tradition.
