[Husker] Huskers win!!!!

      A good win for the Husker baseball team last night.  The only 
thing that would have made it better is if A&M could have hung on to 
their 8-0 lead and beat Baylor.  It is great to see the ground swell for 
Husker baseball in the state of Nebraska.  There are people listening to 
the games on radio and the ones that don't have a radio with them keep 
asking the score.  The crowds are great putting 6,000 to 7,000 at Hay 
Market Park and 20,000 last Tuesday at Rosenblatt to watch Creighton and 
Nebraska.  That is a College World Series size crowd.  I never thought I 
would live long enough to see interest in college baseball in Nebraska 
to that degree.  I am all for football popularity but it great to see 
interest in other sports as well.  It really wasn't all that long ago 
people didn't even care if NU had a team much less when they played and 
how they were doing.  Tech and NU play again at 6:30 tonight.
