[Husker] Very quiet

Well, it's been a rather nondescript week for the
Huskers this week, with a baseball loss to Creighton
in front of a 20K crowd in Omaha and the softball team
being no-hit by Texas in the Big XII tournament.

In basketball, Barry Collier lost his top recruit when
Will Harris decided that he needed to stay closer to
home to be closer to his ailing mother. But Scott
Spinelli worked his New York connections to find
another guard to take that scholarship. Michael Smith
is a 6-2 point guard.

About the only other news I heard this week was more
rehasing of the same Pederson/Callahan bashing that
we've heard over and over and over again.

But things are looking up. The baseball team got a
strong outing tonight out of the bullpen by Brian
Duensing in a 9-4 win at Texas Tech. They could have
moved into a tie for 1st place, but Baylor came from
behind in the 9th over A&M.
