What else would Coach Ditka say when he is in the
state at a Boy and Girls Club function?  He's
certainly not going to make any more appearance fee
money if he goes to a state and says the homestate
coach and program are  on the wrong path, are lousy,
or anything like that.

Grain of salt.  I'd wager that Mike Ditka doesn't
follow college football closely and he doesn't really
know who's doing what other than the obvious such as
Nebraska now runs a variation of the West Coast
offense.  I'd also wager that he has a manager or
agent that gives him a protocol sheet of what subjects
to avoid, who to stroke, and what to say or not say at
a speaking funtion.
