use certain words, regardless of context.  I'm less sure if
that's a positive development  in society.

Moreover, the media folks may disagree with this but ANY
words said within  earshot of the media are always going to
be fair game, because there really isn't such a thing as
'off the record' anymore.  Ever see the movie 'Almost
Famous'?  The media really is the enemy, or at least someone
to whom private thoughts CANNOT be uttered.
