deserve
to be ridden out of town on this rail. The player he
spoke
of wanted him to stay on. Another black player on
the
squad had the same view as did the father of the first
athlete. This is another example of not saying
anything that
might make anyone uncomfortable taken to its logical
extreme."

I am sorry Kerry, but after reading the comments that
he made, he needed to resign. There is no excuse for
the comments and no way for him to explain his way out
of it. It is a very sad situation, but there was no
way anyone in his position should be allowed to remain
on the job after the ugly comments he made, not once,
but twice.
There are times when I feel comments are taken
incorrectly, or blown out of proportion. However,
this is not one of those times. He needs some serious
help and some education.
