He could have probably had the AD job 15 years ago had he really wanted it.
I doubt that there are 50 people in Nebraska who believe that is a higher
position, and Tom Osborne isn't one of them.  (IMHO, UNL Chancellor and 
President of the University aren't higher position, either.  TO could
have probably had the latter position, I doubt he would want the former
under any conditions.  Despite his PhD, he isn't really an 'academic'.)
